Purpose and equipment

Multihead weigher SP8(24)-1 is designed for automatic accurate dosing of any loose and piece products such as nuts, croutons, pasta, chips, dumplings, cookies, frozen vegetables, etc.
Besides that, it is efficient to apply the weigher for dosing of large pieced products where linear weighers do not provide necessary accuracy: spice-cakes, half-finished chicken, pretzel, zephyr, etc.

  • Performance and accuracy of dosing are determined by the quantity of weighing modules. Weighing module quantity is from 10 to 16. Pneumatic actuators are to be used in basket opening mechanisms.
  • Portable control panel is equipped with TFT colour touch screen and integrated with industrial PLC. Remote control panel with colour TFT display for input and display of parameters
  • Calibration of the weight baskets is made via control panel by the actuator controlled reference weight located in each weighing module.

Multihead weigher consisits of a round shaped frame with centered cone dispenser and going down vibrating chutes. Product is fed from the dispenser to the vibrating chutes for its further transportation to the storage hoppers and subsequent weighing in weigh hoppers. While product is being accurately weighed next portion of the product is fed to storage hoppers. Central controller is receiving the weighing data from each weighing hopper and determines the closest suitable to the target weight combination of the product. The drop of the chosen weighing hopper is carried out by PLC demand.
